Holy Week

Palm Sunday: Ordinary Sunday schedule
9:15 Sharing Together Faith Growth. We will be creating visual elements for Easter worship. All ages participate in this shared growth time.

Maundy Thursday: Worship at 7 PM
This day marks Jesus’ last night before his crucifixion. We remember this night by sharing Holy Communion as well as the (optional) washing of feet.

Good Friday:
Noon community ecumenical service and Stations of the Cross at First Christian Church. This is a very powerful service that walks (or rides golf carts) through a dramatization of the last day of Jesus’ life.
7 PM worship at First Lutheran. This somber service recalls the crucifiixion through growing darkness.

Easter Sunday:
We have a different version of our Sharing Together where we will decorate the Easter Cross. Bring flowers or greenery from your yard if you wish, or we will have some available. At 10:30 our very special worship service begins where Good Friday left off, with a somber silence that is split open with the joyous song of Resurrection.
