For this Sunday, we had a service led by our Synod staff, along with a sermon by Evangelical Lutheran Church in America Presiding Bishop Elizabeth Eaton. This was a special opportunity for Presiding Bishop Eaton to ‘be’ in many ELCA congregations at once, which had never happened before. The feed did not post correctly to Facebook and ended up in an old FLC group that is unused. Here is the service on YouTube:

For this Pentecost Sunday, along with a morsel of bread or food and a bit of wine or other drink for Holy Communion, you are encouraged to have a small bowl or cup of water for a Remembrance of Baptism, as well as a candle to recognize the presence of the Holy Spirit in our midst.

As part of our worship on Maundy Thursday and on Easter Sunday, all are invited to receive Holy Communion. To celebrate communion via livestream is unusual.
